Founded in 1992, Frutalcarmo leveraged it's business on the many years of experience in the raw material for the pastry & baking market of it's founder Mr. Mário do Carmo.
In 1994, following a 2 year period of growth & expansion, we started producing our candied fruit range, Frutalcarmo’s first 100% in-house product
Innovation and flexibility has always been our motto. These are values that encourage the development of our know-how and of our productive capacity, from the moment of creating the product to its distribution to our customers, throughout the country.
Frutalcarmo is specially known for its fruit based products, but we also supply a wide range of emulsifiers, bakery mixes, sourdoughs, margarines and bread improvers. In 2011, we created a new brand, Lusopan, to carry these product categories.
